My Crazy Little Circus Likes to Climb Trees

Yes, he does this almost everyday... for fun.  The first time I saw him do this I totally freaked out and stood underneath with my arms outstretched, I was sure he was going to fall.  But, he is a cat after all, and has proven himself to be quite skilled at climbing up and down trees.  Sometimes he isn't very graceful and will even appear to stumble, thankfully, he always catches a stray branch with those claws of his. He is getting much better at it now, which is why I feel safe enough to stand back and take pictures while he does his thing.

The Perfect Frame

I am beyond excited to have found this amazing frame at our local farmers market this weekend.  I needed a permanent home for my 'green apple' drawing and this is exactly what I had in mind.   The guy who was selling them had stacks and stacks of them in many different sizes, all made from re-claimed wood.   I think I'm going to stock-up while I can :)

Vibram Five Fingers

Yes, these are different, much different than a normal pair of shoes. They look different, but, more importantly, they feel different. These shoes make my feet feel free, free from the weight and restriction of a normal pair of running shoes or hiking boots.  I didn't really know that there was another option, but boy have I been missing out in hindsight. My feet are free to move in whatever way most benefits my posture, agility, momentum and comfort. Its amazing how putting on a different set of shoes can so greatly effect how I feel and how I interact with nature.  I never expected to like these as much as I do already, apparently I really love to feel like I am running barefoot through the forest :)

Evidence of Spring

There is always a little something to remind me that spring is here when I need it most. Little peaks of green are given a warm welcome, figuratively if not literally.
