Easy Bruschetta


I thought I'd mix it up this week and forgo a bento post to show what other delicious new foods I've been making.  I made some bruschetta last night by piling some diced tomatoes, onions and cucumber onto fresh baguette slices and dusting them with a little garlic powder and olive oil. I still can't believe that I have grown to love cooking and making new foods!  I never would have guessed that making new and exciting foods would be something I could enjoy and pursue out of pure interest. I used to despise making food, the only thing I could make without feeling stressed or overwhelmed was simple pasta... My how things have changed, and for the better!  Having a delicious, self-made treat is such a great reward.
